Yeah, that sucks. I just re-read the nfo and it douse say vista x86. Dam the small print.
I had just finished burning the disc too.

Do this, format, run vista, 15-20 minutes, then throw 7 in, it worked for me. Vista took about a million updates the first night and was gone as soon as msft hit it with one of the killer wga shits. But if you just install the basic vista without the updates, let it run and don’t shut it down to instal, it will take 7 and run perfect.

The Windows 7 64bit does in fact require a serial and activation.

WHY the FU*K is this still being listed as Windows 7 when its Vista?????

What? Acc. to gym, install vista, let it run 20 min, then install win7 x64 (?) and win7 runs without serial and activation? thats the plan?

I have been running “7″ now for 5 days, it took the updates, after the 2nd day I shut off the update feature. It wanted to install the WGA, I don’t know weather that will screw things up or not, but decided to not risk it. It is current with all hadrware and software updates other than that one. I will wait a few weeks and when I am sure I can download a bypass for the wga, I will let it take the download. This is just a logical way of doing it. Everything works great, so why take a chance of losing all your work for the sake of one download, that you don’t need. This is for the 32 bit system. I would approach the 64 bit the same way. I wasn’t sure if the drivers for the 64 bit would work with all of my hardware so decided to go this route for now. Good luck, and thanks for posting

Just thought I’d let folk know about this. I downloaded the 64 bit version the day this got posted up. During installation it does ask you to enter a serial, but if you ignore that and untick the box that asks to activate when installed, then press next (or submit, forget what the button said) then it’s ok.
I think the installation was edited somewhat, because later in the installation a command prompt pops up and a serial is entered through that.

Also, I did a genuine check with Microsoft and it passed with no problems. Downloaded a bunch of things from the MS website all checked the WGA and all claimed I was genuine.

So, no need for a serial, activation or WGA bypass with this one!

This is for 64 bit, guessing 32 bit will be fine too. @gym, majority of programs and drivers have been made for vista x64, and if it runs on vista x64 it can run on Windows 7 x64 (same for x82). For programs that never ran on vista, there’s virtual PC/Sun Virtualbox etc..

Downloaded the x64 version, installation starts of fine, i skipped the part where you need to enter the registration key, and indeed, a registration key is added automatically. After the installer is almost done, i get a big white screen, with red letters saying error: file missing. And the entire installer doesn’t go on beyond that point. Is there anybody else experiencing the same problems, and if so, does anybody have a solution for it?

Downloaded the 64 bit version. No problem so far with installation and updating. Manage to crack the activation code. I am running 64 bit and very please with it.

usually one would dl something like this the moment it is posted. of course the links are down 3 days later. surprised it lasted that long.

doesn’t say its activated, in any windows vista+ install you can skip putting the serial in on install. it will still be required to activate. you can delay this at most for 3 months, using the actiavation counter resets.

i’m using the activation crack as this post is bullshit.

I have two computers, i got an “error” in the command console on computer1 its said “click to contuinue” i clicked and everything works fine but i saids thay i dont have activeted windows. I format and reinstalled it but got the same problem.

On computer to, i dident get the error. When i checked its was activated.

To activate it you have to download Windows.7.Loader.v1.7.5-DAZ and just choose “default” and your windows it activated! Google it and you will find it, or piratebay.org or something.
