thanks! i’m a little hesitant to upgrade at the moment…does anyone else want to give this a go?

Already have mate, its amazing, Ive been running it since it was a beta and then when the final release came out. Best windows yet! As a tip to anyone that installs.. Unplug all your other hard drives during installation, and do not upgrade.. do a clean install. Windows 7 needs a 100MB partition for its boot record. If you do install while having other hard drives it will put the boot record on another HD for whatever reason. I am not the only one multiple forums where people had the same issue. Other than thats its awesome!

yes you can. In windows update you can download language packs for it. Greek being one of them.

Just installed and it works fine, thanks uploader, asks for key but just click next and BINGO… all good here….

for me i got to the installation process and about halfway through it cancels it because necessary files can not be found?

i download it, extracted the iso from the rar file, burnt it to disc using nero burning rom then booted my pc from the disc to start the installation

advice please?

Try re-extract and burn at 4 speed, no higher, if that doesn’t work then i don’t know, could be a corrupt RAR! Worked fine for me…

Does this version of Windows update and pass verification when Microsoft verify it online? During downloading some stuff off the net Windows will occasionally verify your copy, does it pass this?

i want to upgrade vista to windows 7 and i have sony vaio fw series but i have a question, if i upgrade vista to windows7, is it gonna be factoring setting. or will all my documents and all sony apps currently on there, can i use those even if i upgrade it? i mean after upgrade it will change just operating system right? should i install any drivers or software? please help me… bless you

Just a word, Daemon Tools not compatable with 7, also had to find audio and video drivers compatable for 7, all done now and still all good….

I installed a cracked version of Windows 7 on my sisters machine a few weeks back and after getting all the right drivers (same as vista drivers) it’s been running great. I’m really liking the interface and it seems to be a very smooth operating system, without all that many hiccups (wait, windows? wtf?!). I had an issue installing Battlefield 2 that I still haven’t been able to fix (can’t recall the exact problem), but all the other games and apps I have tried have worked well. No problems with hardware (with drivers), and no problems connecting to the internet. I am honestly awestruck by this: Microsoft may have actually released a quality operating system. Shit.

Does this pass the MS online verification? Is it cracked so it doesn’t ask that?

I you reupload it, for godsake don’t call it windows! Call Barette’s Family reunion or something mundane. That’s why you get dead links. It’s like say, hey, this is pirated and I need you to delete me immediately.

if one rar file is corrupt it will always say that the last one is corrupt too.

i would suggest that you re-download part 2

Part 3 is dead now its only 6.86kb
