Staff Picks #8 - The Dark Knight 720p [Movie]

It was to my great excitment that I saw this pre yesterday while I was idleing in the ZeroSec IRC channel. Having been to see it at the cinema twice I still can not get enough of this film. I’ve therefore chosen it as a staff pick because it just shouts awesomeness and because it allows me to post the links in the forum…and they need the protection. This rip by iNFAMOUS is probably the biggest I’ve ever downloaded (8GB), but then I spose it has to be to keep the quality up considering the length of the film. If you have been waiting for this in HD get this rls, or hold out for the massive 1080p version. Whatever you do please either go see the film or buy the DVD at least, you will not be disappointed!
Batman, Gordon and Harvey Dent are forced to deal with the chaos unleashed by an anarchist mastermind known only as the Joker, as it drives each of them to their limits.

Okay, so we haven’t done one of these for a long time and I thought this might see you through problems that we are having with RSMonkey. Basically this is just a purely epic film and if you haven’t yet seen it, and you’re heading off to see Quantum of Solace then Casino Royale is a must. In fact its quite hard to understand QOS without seeing it. I bring you the 2CD DVDRip by the guys at NeDiVx, its 2CD because you have to be a pretty big idiot (hey aXXo!) to rip this to 700mb using Xvid. For those who have ridiculas internet speeds I have provided the 720p Bluray from REVEiLLE with DTS audio (which basically just means its awesome)….Enjoy!
Well… there hasn’t been a new Staff Pick for far too long, so I thought I’d bring it back with this great release by SKIDROW. To be honest, the only reason I downloaded this game was because I was bored and the file size was so small (~67MB with DX install stripped). After playing just the first level, I was hooked. It’s one of the most unique and original games I’ve played in a long time and definitely recommend it to even non-games. Enjoy!
Well, I tried to get a few others to do a Staff Pick this week, but no one seemed too inclined… so I bring you Burn Notice. I’ve seen the show on TV a couple times and liked it quite a bit, but never got too into it, but recently I found myself liking it more and more. So I downloaded the first season in DVDRip quality (Which I’ll be posting soon) and what’s been aired of the second season in HDTV. (Which I’ll also be posting soon) Any who, if you haven’t downloaded the latest episode yet here it is, and if you’ve never watched the show before, I suggest you give it a shot.
Since the new release of Adulthood came out several days ago i though it would be a good idea to post its prequel. Kidulthood is a 2006 British Drama Film about the life of several 15-year-olds in the deprived Ladbroke Grove and Latimer Road area of Inner West London. It was directed by Menhaj Huda and written by Noel Clarke, who also appears in the film. I was totally unaware of this movie until it was shown on BBC THREE a few weeks back and it was totally brilliant. In a way i can i relate to this as i am around this age as well and formerly lived in London, so i know what youth cultures are like nowadays. There is alot of emotional scenes in this movie too, which got to me and im just very glad not to be in these sort of situations. As for the group who ripped this movie i am not sure but quality is your standard 1 cd.
I first heard about this movie a couple months ago when I was channel-surfing and landed on my school’s movie channel. I left the movie on for a while and I started to like what I was seeing. I’d been wanting to watch the full movie ever since, and finally I was able to get a DVD copy the other day. It was just released on DVD on 6/24/08 but it’s been on the scene for almost 3 months… I don’t have any sweet connections, so you’re getting a rip now. I now present you with a new feature here at OneDDL, which should help with the absense of TV Shows over the summer and the drought surrounding releases of films at the moment, I am of course talking about Staff Picks. This feature will run once a week and will consist of a different staff member posting a release of something that they found entertaining or useful, either from that week or from any date they choose. The brain child for this idea is actually smokey, who deserves the respect in this case…either way I chose, since I happen to be the admin (hehe) to make the first post.
