How gay do you have to be to watch this? I’m gay, if I watch it will it make me super gay? Don’t get me wrong, I feel bad for how many straight guys where drag to this movie by there woman.
the thing is there’s nothing gay about it it’s not even a girlie movie, there’s no edge, there’s no Camp, there’s no Spark to the film. I was gonna compare it to other such Teen Dance dramas of today (which I don’t rate at the best of times), but it’s very dull in comparison.
I’m glad I downloaded it, I wanted to watch it because I’m a fan of the Alan Parker classic, and I wanted to see how watered down this version was……… it’s like vegetable stock. Parker’s darker view of ambition, 30 years on, shits all over this. But that’s just my opinion.
I agree, there was no spark to this movie at all. It felt like watching This Is It without Micheal Jackson, lots of singing and dancing and no storyline, like THIS IS IT. Oh well…
