Staff Picks #3 – Kidulthood [Movie]

Since the new release of Adulthood came out several days ago i though it would be a good idea to post its prequel. Kidulthood is a 2006 British Drama Film about the life of several 15-year-olds in the deprived Ladbroke Grove and Latimer Road area of Inner West London. It was directed by Menhaj Huda and written by Noel Clarke, who also appears in the film. I was totally unaware of this movie until it was shown on BBC THREE a few weeks back and it was totally brilliant. In a way i can i relate to this as i am around this age as well and formerly lived in London, so i know what youth cultures are like nowadays. There is alot of emotional scenes in this movie too, which got to me and im just very glad not to be in these sort of situations. As for the group who ripped this movie i am not sure but quality is your standard 1 cd.
